Job summary

Valley Health is hiring a part-time Housekeeper/Floor Crew for the First Shift in Winchester, VA. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks across patient care areas, surgical spaces, and offices, maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Preferred candidates hold a High School Diploma or equivalent and have prior institutional housekeeping experience, with strong reading, writing and customer-interaction skills to support quality care.

• Previous institutional housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in patient care areas, offices and suites.
• Provide housekeeping and floor care, including between-case surgical cleaning.
• Maintain stock, supply levels and assist the department as needed.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment that meets regulatory procedures.

Provides housekeeping support to patient care area, surgical areas, physician areas, office and administrative suites. Maintains a clean, safe environment for staff, customers, visitors, and patients. Ensures comprehensive cleaning as prescribed by department and in accordance with regulatory practices and procedures. Maintains stock and supplies. Provides other support to the department as needed. **Education** High School Diploma or equivalent preferred **Experience** Previous housekeeping experience in an institutional setting is preferred. **Qualifications** Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instruction and established procedures. Must possess a positive attitude and display excellent customer interactions.
