Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Per Diem Housekeeper to perform a wide range of cleaning tasks across patient care areas, including surgical and office spaces. You will maintain a clean, safe environment and support the department as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and prior institutional housekeeping experience. Excellent customer interactions and personal hygiene are essential, with a positive attitude and reliability highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in an institutional setting is preferred.
• Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instruction and established procedures.
• Must possess a positive attitude and display excellent customer interactions.
• Must have exemplary personal hygiene and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping and floor care tasks, including between-case surgical cleaning.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment for staff, visitors, and patients in patient care areas, surgical areas, physician areas, offices and administrative suites.
• Maintains stock and supplies; provides support to the department as needed.
