Maryland Treatment Centers Inc., also known as Mountain Manor Treatment Centers- Emmitsburg provides a comprehensive continuum of treatment for persons with problems involving substance use. Clinical programs include assessment, residential/inpatient, detoxification, day treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient substance abuse, dual diagnosis, mental health, special education and prevention services. Full-Time Housekeeper

Position: Full-Time Housekeeper

Schedule: 4:30 AM – 12:30 PM (40 hours per week). Hours are flexible.

Prior hospital/healthcare experience needed.

Responsibilities

• The overall responsibility of the Housekeeper is the efficient and timely cleaning of patient rooms, staff offices, and community rooms according to a daily schedule.
• Must be comfortable walking up and down 5 flights of stairs each shift.
• Frequent/strenuous physical activity (e.g., heavy lifting, sustained physical effort, extensive carrying, pushing / pulling).
• Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to train but would prefer 12+ months of experience as a housekeeper in a hospital or healthcare setting.

Bonus Points

• Experience in a substance abuse or mental health setting.
