Westminster Winter Park, a Westminster Communities of Florida property in Winter Park, FL, is seeking a friendly Housekeeper. This full-time role involves cleaning residences, health center rooms, dining areas and common spaces, with a requirement to work every other weekend.

The ideal candidate has a high school education (or better) and up to 6 months of related experience; experience with older adults in healthcare is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent; up to one month related experience or training.
• Experience in healthcare with older adults is desirable, minimum 6 months.
• Able to work every other weekend and handle cleaning tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Clean homes, condominiums, studio apartments, health center rooms and common areas.
• Sanitize Health Center rooms after move-out or before move-in.
• Maintain dining areas, cleaning and sanitizing at least twice daily.
• Clean, dust, sweep, mop and vacuum assigned areas daily.
• Remove garbage, including biohazards handled by contracted vendors.

Westminster Winter Park, a beautiful lakeside Active Living Community in Winter Park has an open position for a Housekeeper (full time). We are a not-for-profit community service organization dedicated and committed to providing services for older adults. This is a full-time position and requires flexibility to work every other weekend.

POSITION SUMMARY:The Housekeeper cleans residences; apartments; Health Center rooms and bathrooms and residential common areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for cleaning homes, condominiums, studio apartments, health center rooms and common areas. May work outside in the heat/cold/rain and transfer between buildings.
• Responsible for sanitizing Health Center rooms after a move-out or prior to a move-in.
• Maintain dinning areas cleaned and sanitized (at least twice daily).
• Cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily of assigned work areas.
• Garbage removal including biohazards removal (by contracted vendor) from the assigned areas.
• Cleaning duties/functions as contracted by independent residents.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or experience:

• A high school education or equivalent and up to one month related experience or training.
• Experience and Basic Knowledge:
• Working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably a minimum of 6 months.
