Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to clean residential units, Health Center rooms and common areas, ensuring a safe, sanitary environment for residents. Duties include sanitizing Health Center rooms after move-outs or before move-ins, cleaning dining areas, hallways and bathrooms, and supporting residents with daily housekeeping needs.

A high school education or equivalent is required, with up to one month of related experience; healthcare experience is

• Up to one-month related experience or training is acceptable.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Cleans residential units, resident's rooms and common areas (including stairwells).
• Sanitizes Health Center rooms after move-out or prior to move-in.
• Maintains dining areas cleaned and sanitized (at least twice daily).
• Cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily of assigned areas.
• Garbage removal including biohazards removal (by contracted vendor).
• Cleans duties as contracted by independent residents.

HOUSEKEEPER ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster and its communities.

• Cleans residential units, resident's rooms and common areas (including stairwells) of assigned work areas.
• Responsible for sanitizing Health Center rooms after a move-out or prior to a move-in.
• Send or bring “protectors” to the laundry area after being used by residents during each meal.
• Maintain dining areas cleaned and sanitized (at least twice daily).
• Cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily of assigned work areas.
• Garbage removal including biohazards removal (by contracted vendor) from the assigned areas.
• Cleaning duties/functions as contracted by independent residents.

HOUSEKEEPER ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
