Job summary

Connect Staffing is seeking a dependable Housekeeper/ Cleaning Associate for an industrial facility in Houston. You will maintain cleanliness in offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, working independently with attention to detail.

The role requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to lift cleaning supplies. This part-time position runs 7:00 AM–11:00 AM with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. Prior cleaning experience is preferred and safety procedures must be followed.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed.
• Dust and wipe down desks, tables, counters, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash and replace trash liners.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles and light switches.
• Keep break rooms and kitchen areas clean and sanitary.
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrances, hallways, and designated facility areas.
• Report any maintenance, safety, or cleaning supply issues to management.
• Follow proper procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain a professional and safe work environment.
• Perform other general cleaning duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for cleaning offices, restrooms, break areas, common areas, and other designated areas throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and takes pride in maintaining a clean workplace.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and common areas


• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed
