Job summary

The Ground in the Willamette Valley is seeking a part-time housekeeping team member to care for guest rooms, vacation homes and event spaces, while supporting breakfast service for Inn guests. You will help maintain our property to high cleanliness standards and greet guests with a warm, attentive approach.

• Prior housekeeping or related cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques/chemical applications a plus.
• Desire to work in a multi-faceted, cross-campus, fast-paced role.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with professional, efficient, prompt, and courteous service.
• Clean and maintain guestrooms, vacation homes, event spaces and offices to property specific standards.
• Clean and replenish designated areas within assigned shift.
• Maintain supplies and organization of housekeeping area.
• Check all rooms and report any damage, repair needs, or loss of supplies.
• Monitor cleanliness of all public areas both inside and out around the property.
• Set up breakfast service for Inn guests to include table set up, breakfast buffet, brewing coffee and tea.
• Warming our breakfast items prepared by Grounded Table, and serving guests.
• Clear and clean up breakfast service to include tearing down buffet, clean up kitchen, load dishwasher.
• Preparation for the following day's breakfast service that includes portioning prepared foods.
• Attends staff meetings and training sessions.
• Greets and warmly engages guests.
• Complete tasks as assigned by Manager.
