Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral of Jackson is seeking a Facility Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of the facility and public areas, supporting a safe and healing environment for adolescents in care.

The role covers daily cleaning duties, inventory management, and assistance with functions and inspections, contributing to a respectful and compassionate treatment setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust, vacuum, and clean all offices, hallways, lobby, entryway, restrooms, and client areas.
• Identify maintenance needs (lighting, repair needs) and notify maintenance via the Maintenance Request form.
• Collect and dispose of all facility trash; coordinate removal of hazardous and/or oversized waste.
• Conduct inventory of all facility cleaning and paper supplies monthly; restock as needed.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are kept in working order and secured when not in use.
• Assist in preparation for special functions, tours, and inspections.

Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the facility and daily upkeep of public areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Dust, vacuum, and clean all offices, hallways, lobby, entryway, restrooms, and client areas.

2. Identify maintenance needs (lighting, repair needs) while completing regularly assigned duties and notify maintenance of such through use of Maintenance Request form.

3. Collect and dispose of all facility trash. Coordinate removal of all hazardous and/or oversized waste.

4. Conduct inventory of all facility cleaning and paper supplies on at least a monthly basis. Notify appropriate personnel of all restocking needs.

5. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are kept in working order at all times. Lock equipment away from client access when not in direct use. Keep equipment within eyesight and away from client access when in use.

6. Assist in preparation for special functions, tours, and inspections.

1. AGE-At least eighteen (21) years of age.

2. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
