Job Title: Housekeeper

Department: Housekeeping / Rooms

Reports to: Housekeeping Manager / Operations Manager

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time positions available

Summary

As a Housekeeper for the Hotel Division of Summit Hospitality Group, you are responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a spotless environment that meets corporate and brand standards for quality and cleanliness. The ideal Housekeeper is friendly, helpful, efficient, and dedicated to making guests feel welcome and comfortable.

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in name-brand hotel housekeeping preferred
  • Can-do attitude, cheerful and respectful work ethic
  • Service-oriented with professional presentation
  • High energy, attention to detail
  • Responsive to guest requests
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Potential interest in advancing to supervisory roles
Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to guest and department requests
  • Enter guest rooms following proper procedures, replace amenities
  • Change linens, clean bathrooms, remove trash and room service items
  • Make beds, dust, polish, vacuum, and perform floor care
  • Follow safety policies, report maintenance issues
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Greet and assist guests, support team goals
Work Environment
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds, reach, bend, and stand for extended periods
  • Duties may change as needed
