Job summary

Pacific Pointe Senior Apartments seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe living environment for residents. You will perform routine cleaning, disinfect rooms, restock supplies, and support daily operations. The role emphasizes compassion for residents, adherence to schedules, and teamwork with staff. Weekend/holiday availability may be required; on-site position in Chula Vista, CA.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles preferred.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in healthcare or hospitality settings.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently while adhering to cleaning schedules and standards.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces throughout the facility.
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and office spaces according to established protocols and schedules.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available at all times.
• Dispose of trash and hazardous materials in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines and infection control practices to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment.
• Collaborate with other staff members to address any maintenance or housekeeping-related issues that arise.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of residents and staff at all times.
