Job summary

Ivy Park at San Juan Capistrano, managed by Oakmont Management Group, is hiring a full-time Housekeeper to maintain resident apartments, common areas, and laundry services in a courteous manner.

The position requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior housekeeping experience preferred. Vaccination and health screenings may be required to protect residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
• Vaccination/testing and PPE may be required to protect residents and staff per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

The Housekeeper

is responsible for cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common areas, and work areas and doing laundry for both the residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner, in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values.

• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
