Job summary

The Fremont Senior Living in Springfield, MO is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper to provide high-quality cleaning and housekeeping services for residents. You will help create a home-like environment, maintain spotless common areas, and ensure resident comfort throughout shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Applicants must be at least 18, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to read and communicate in English, and pass a health screening along with a TB

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an 8th grade level or higher with residents.
• Positive, energetic attitude toward residents.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds and push/pull a housekeeping cart.
• Good health verified by physician health screening within 6 months prior to or 7 days after employment and TB free.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping services to residents to keep areas clean, comfortable and home-like.
• Maintain cleanliness from lobby to break room ensuring order and tidiness.

Housekeeper pay range: $15.50 - $20.50 per hour

Shift Schedule—

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

8:00am to 4:00pm

We are looking for someone (like you)

• Make Each Room a Home: By providing housekeeping services for residents, you make each area a comfortable, clean, and cozy place to live.
• Be the Master of the Mise enScène: From behind the scenes, you ensure each area, from the lobby to the employee break room, is tidy and clean, with everything in its place.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• You shall have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You should be professional in appearance and conduct.
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push/pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
• Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment. Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
• You must be criminally cleared.
