Job description

As a Housekeeper, you help maintain a safe, clean, and attractive environment for our employees and residents. The housekeeper maintains the interior and shared spaces of a multifamily property.

The How…

While prior experience in groundskeeping, janitorial or custodial positions is helpful for your success, it’s unnecessary. We will show you how to maintain the property to the company’s high standards of cleanliness.

Your focus is on the community’s public spaces and amenities used by our residents, such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, recreation areas, fountains, pool areas, business centers, and other resident amenities. This includes cleaning and shampooing rugs and carpets and cleaning hard-surface flooring with the appropriate cleaning supplies and safety signage, as needed.

You also help the entire team keep the property grounds free of trash, waste, and refuse by performing door-to-door trash pickup and transporting it to the disposal area throughout the day.

As a part of the maintenance team, you also assist in the make-ready process for recently vacant units by completing a full apartment cleaning before a new resident moves in.

Your friendly and efficient approach is perfect when engaging with residents while working around the property. You are committed to creating a safe working environment for the team and a safe living environment for our residents with a safety-first approach to everything you do.

The Details…
  • You will work full-time, generally Monday through Friday
  • During high-traffic holiday periods, the position is scheduled according to Company standards; the supervisor must approve schedules
  • We offer many benefits to meet your needs, including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance options. The company provides auto-enrollment in its 401(k) plan after 60 days of employment. New employees accrue 40 vacation hours in the first year and earn paid sick leave per state requirements*. Eligible employees also receive holiday pay (if working) or paid holidays (if scheduled off) for six holidays each year**.

We can’t be an industry leader without you.

  • The Company provides at least 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year in states with no state mandate. **To be eligible for holiday pay, employees must have completed 90 days of employment and worked the last scheduled day before and the first day after the holiday.
