Decatur Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to perform daily cleaning, sanitation, and restocking across the hospital and affiliated properties. All tasks follow Environmental Services and Infection Prevention protocols to maintain a clean, safe healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The position offers an 8:00 AM–8:00 PM rotating schedule (three 11.5-hour shifts per week, about 40.5 hours weekly), with additional 6-hour and 12-hour weekend shifts per pay

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift objects and climb ladders as needed.
• Capable of performing tasks requiring moderate physical effort.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, sanitation, and restocking within assigned areas throughout Decatur Memorial Hospital and its affiliated properties.
• Follow Environmental Services and Infection Prevention & Control procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Full time$15.5 - $21.44The Housekeeper performs daily cleaning, sanitation, and supply restocking within assigned areas throughout Decatur Memorial Hospital and its affiliated properties. All duties are completed in accordance with established Environmental Services and Infection Prevention & Control procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
