Position: Housekeeper (First Shift) in Durham, North Carolina. Offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas according to schedule, including apartment homes, common areas, lounges, and offices.
• Clean floors, rugs, carpets, and runners; maintain cleanliness of all surfaces and fixtures.
• Sanitize and polish bathroom and kitchen fixtures; restock dispensers as needed.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in an organized, clean condition.
• Manage trash collection and community laundry operations.
• Ensure chemicals and equipment are stored safely; keep hazards out of walkways.
• Report repairs and supply needs to the Lead Housekeeper.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills in the primary language of residents.
• Ability to interpret safety and operational documents.
• Interest in working with seniors.
• Courteous interaction with guests, residents, and staff.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
