Weidner Apartment Homes in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Housekeeper 1 to maintain the daily upkeep of our community's common areas and assist with cleaning leased homes after move-out to ensure a high-quality move-in experience.

The role emphasizes time management, attention to detail, and reliable customer service when interacting with residents, associates and vendors. You will use company apps and support maintenance and housekeeping operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas daily and assist in keeping the leasing office clean.
• Assist with trashing out vacant units and basic maintenance tasks.
• Ensure market-ready apartments, common areas and amenities meet Weidner standards.
• Assist with distributing resident correspondence while maintaining privacy.
• Accompany vendors to units as needed and monitor supplies and equipment.
• Keep maintenance shop and custodial areas clean and organized.

Position Summary:

As a Housekeeper 1, you will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the common areas of your community. This position will assist in keeping the leasing office cleaned daily to maintain a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This role is responsible for cleaning homes after move out and ensuring a quality move-in experience. A successful Housekeeper 1 is able to manage their time effectively, is detail oriented, a trustworthy team player, and takes pride in their work. In addition, this position needs to be accountable and attentive to provide excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents, associates and vendors.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform daily grounds maintenance of the property including picking up and disposing of all trash, pet defecation removal, maintain pet waste stations, and sweeping walkways
• Assist with trashing out vacant units and doing basic screwdriver maintenance to include but not limited to; replacement of drip pans, removal of outlet/switch covers, ability to break down the interior of the refrigerator to ensure proper clearning
• Ensure market ready apartments, common areas and amenities are clean and maintained daily to Weidner’s quality standards
• Assist team with distributing resident correspondence and notices while maintaining privacy of confidential and sensitive information
• Accompany vendors to vacant and/or occupied units, as needed
• Monitor supplies and maintain equipment
• Must utilize Weidner issued cell phone and specified apps as part of your daily responsibilities
• Ensure maintenance shop/custodial area is clean, organized, and professionally presentable at all times
