Job summary

The Shores of Worthington is seeking a Casual/PRN Housekeeper to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks to keep resident areas clean, safe, and comfortable under the direction of the Environmental Service Director.

Experience is not required; on-the-job training is provided. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. This role offers flexible hours in Worthington, MN with wage based on experience.

• Possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and accept constructive criticism.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members and visitors.
• Must be willing to work harmoniously with other personnel as well as be willing to handle residents based on their maturity level.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks as directed by Environmental Service Director.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping with nursing services when performing routine areas.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms and other work areas.

We are looking for a Casual/PRN Housekeeper!

Purpose:The primary purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department as directed by the Environmental Service Director to assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner to meet the needs of the residents and the facility.

Wage: $14.66-$16.19. Wage is based on experience.

Education:Equivalent to a Highschool diploma

Responsibilities:

• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments; document as required by facility policies.

• Coordinate daily housekeeping with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living or recreational areas.

• Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies.

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms and other work areas.

Experience:
