American Lutheran Homes is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Mondovi team in Wisconsin. We offer Full-Time and Part-Time AM shifts with starting wages of 14.00-17.00 per hour, based on experience.

Join a mission-driven organization that cares for residents and community. As a Housekeeper you will clean resident rooms and common areas, handle laundry, operate cleaning equipment, and follow infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning and sanitation skills.
• Ability to read and follow labeling and SDS.
• Good communication with residents and staff.
• Respect for confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines when using tools and detergents.
• Operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals safely.
• Sort, wash, fold, and distribute clean laundry.
• Maintain infection control policies and procedures.
• Communicate with residents, families, and co-workers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Clean resident's rooms, common areas, bathrooms, furniture/furnishings according to job policies and procedures.
• Follow manufacture procedural guidelines when using tools
• Operate equipment and handling of chemicals
• Must be able to read and understand labeling along with the Safety Data Sheet
• Removal of debris and soiled linen
• Understand and follow proper infection control policies and procedures
• Has access to confidential information/records and maintains confidentiality
• Project a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
• Must be able to communicate orally and/or in writing with residents, co-workers, families, public
• Sort, wash, fold, and distribute clean laundry
• Follow manufacturer's guidelines when handling chemicals
