Job summary

The Lutheran Home is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. You will help residents feel at home while upholding our service values.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and attention to detail are required.
• Must be at least 18 years old; high school diploma/GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness in residents' rooms.
• Cleaning bathrooms daily and restocking toiletries.
• Emptying trash and disposing in designated areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming as needed.
• Cleaning common areas (hallways, living rooms, dining areas).
• Cleaning and changing beds; assisting with room changes.
• Inspecting areas for repairs and reporting issues.
• Following chemical safety procedures and securing products.

The Lutheran Home is seeking a dependable and dedicated Housekeeper to join our healthcare community. In this role, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment where you help residents feel truly at home. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Maintainingcleanliness in the resident’s room
• Cleaning bathrooms daily and restocking toiletries
• Emptying trash cans and disposing of the waste in designated areas
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming as needed
• Cleaning common areas of the facility including hallways, living rooms and dining rooms
• Cleaning the shower room
• Packing and moving personal items for room changes
• Cleaning and changing out beds as needed
• Inspecting areas for needed repairs or maintenance and reporting findings per policy
• Following proper proceduresin the use of chemicals in the workplace and ensuring they are secured when not in use
