Job summary

The Glenn of West St. Paul Senior Living is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. You will work three days per week, 6-8 hour shifts.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident apartments and common areas, restocking supplies, following the housekeeping schedule, and ensuring laundry is cleaned and sanitized as scheduled. A minimum of one year of housekeeping experience and English literacy are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience.
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident's best interest.
• Ability to motivate oneself and work independently.
• Ability to be flexible and to work with other staff and residents.
• Ability to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak, and understand English.

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart.
• Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule.
• Assure resident apartment and laundry are clean and sanitized as scheduled.

• Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean, and safe.
• Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

Cleaning duties includes but not limited to:

• Vacuuming hallways, elevators, and furniture
• Washing inside glass doors and windows
• Sweeping and/or mopping floors
• Cleaning and stocking supplies in restroom
• Dusting
• Rubbish/trash removal

Housekeeper Qualifications:
