Job summary

New Perspective Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home for seniors. You’ll work across the community and laundry functions, supporting a homelike atmosphere and positive resident interactions.

Full-time or part-time shifts are available, with a 7:00 am - 3:00 pm schedule and occasional weekend rotation. We offer training, educational assistance, bonuses, and a supportive leadership culture dedicated to your growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Ability to make decisions in residents' best interest.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and polish floors; sanitize areas; vacuum; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls; move furniture and equipment.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Stock common areas, replace light bulbs, tidy throughout the day and reduce trip hazards.
• Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and equipment.
• Deliver hospitality and excellent service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors.

Position Summary

As the Housekeeper, you will work throughout the community and laundry functions to create a safe, secure and inviting environment while developing and nurturing fulfilling relationships with older adults who want to stay active, be social and enjoy life. Shift Availability:

7:00 am -3:00 pm with an occasional weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Able to sweep, mop, and polish floors; sanitize areas, vacuum carpets; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls; move and arrange furniture and equipment; and pick up outside garbage.
• Works in cooperation with all other team members of the facility to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both residents and team members.
• Stocks common areas, replaces light bulbs, tidies throughout the day, and eliminates trip hazards.
• Adheres to community's safety program at all times including handling and storage of chemicals and equipment.
• Understands and carries out oral and written directions.
• Champions hospitality and delivers excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors.
• Ensures an attractive home environment that fosters engagement, socialization and purposeful living.
