Job summary

New Perspective Senior Living, LLC is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to create a clean, safe, and inviting home for residents across the community and laundry areas. You’ll help maintain a homelike atmosphere while supporting residents who want to stay active and social.

Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm with occasional weekend rotation. Benefits include tuition assistance, referral bonuses, flexible scheduling, and a range of company-paid and voluntary programs to support employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalence required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Ability to make decisions in residents' best interest.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and polish floors; sanitize areas, vacuum carpets; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls; move and arrange furniture and equipment; and pick up outside garbage.
• Work in cooperation with all other team members to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for residents and staff.
• Stock common areas, replace light bulbs, tidy throughout the day, and eliminate trip hazards.
• Adhere to safety protocols for handling and storage of chemicals and equipment.
• Understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Deliver hospitality and excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors.
• Ensure an attractive home environment that fosters engagement and purposeful living.

Position Summary

As the Housekeeper, you will work throughout the community and laundry functions to create a safe, secure and inviting environment while developing and nurturing fulfilling relationships with older adults who want to stay active, be social and enjoy life.
