Job summary

Compass Senior Living is seeking a Part Time Housekeeper to join our care-focused community in McMinnville, OR. You will maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, and attractive condition according to procedures and supervisor directions.

You will provide excellent service to residents and fellow staff, follow cleaning schedules, and report any unsafe conditions. This role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness within a vibrant eldercare

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and internal/external customers.
• Clean residents' apartments and common areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
• Adhere to infection control, food-borne illness prevention, chemical handling, fire safety and sanitation procedures.
• Submit maintenance work orders to the Maintenance Director.
• Report unsafe/hazardous conditions within the community.

What You’ll Do

The Housekeeper maintains assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, and attractive manner per established procedures and as directed by the supervisor; ensures that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is always maintained.

As a Housekeeper, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• You will provide cleaning services inside residents' apartments and common areas.
• You will follow a cleaning schedule and instructions.
• You will adhere to procedures regarding infection control, food-borne illness prevention, harmful chemical handling, fire, safety, and sanitation.
• You will submit maintenance work orders to the Maintenance Director.
• You will report any unsafe/hazardous conditions within the community.
