Magnolia Creek Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents. You will ensure rooms, common areas, and facilities stay tidy and safe.

Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry assistance, waste handling, inventory maintenance, and collaboration with staff to support resident comfort and dignity. A compassionate, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties in common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Laundry Services: Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Waste Management: Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly, ensuring waste areas are clean and organized.
• Inventory Management: Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management of shortages or issues.
• Safety & Sanitation: Follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic environment for residents and staff.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff to keep the facility well-maintained and residents comfortable.
• Resident Engagement: Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.
