Job summary

Harmony House Care Center in Waterloo, IA, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our friendly team on a 6am-2:30pm part-time/PRN schedule. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled living environment for residents, using appropriate cleaning tools and chemicals.

The role requires at least 11th grade education, prior housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred, and a willingness to invest in resident care excellence.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an eleventh grade education.
• Prior Housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards for residents.
• Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility using housekeeping tools and chemicals.

As a Housekeeper you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our resident’s environment. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony House Care Center by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility and operating housekeeping related tools, chemicals and equipment. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure a clean and safe environment.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an eleventh (11th) grade education. Prior Housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
