Friendship Village Retirement Community in Waterloo, IA, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate for our senior living community. You will clean resident rooms, dining and common areas, handle laundry tasks, and follow infection prevention guidelines to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform physical housekeeping tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, dining areas, and other spaces.
• Perform routine dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitizing.
• Change linens and assist with laundry duties as needed.
• Follow cleaning procedures and infection prevention guidelines.
• Replenish housekeeping supplies and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
• Respect residents' privacy and living spaces.
• Interact with residents, families, and team members in a friendly, courteous manner.

What You'll Do

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, dining areas, and other designated spaces.
• Perform routine dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.
• Change linens and assist with laundry duties as needed.
• Follow cleaning procedures and infection prevention guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Replenish housekeeping supplies and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
• Respect residents' privacy, personal belongings, and living spaces.
• Interact with residents, families, and team members in a friendly, courteous, and compassionate manner.
