HOUSEKEEPER – FULL TIME

Montgomery County currently has an opening for a full-time housekeeper to carry out various cleaning tasks while ensuring County cleanliness standards and safety guidelines are met. Customary hours Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, with duties including but not limited to: taking out trash, tidying furniture, dusting surfaces, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming, and other duties to maintain presentable facilities for public use. Responsible for the appropriate use and care of supplies, equipment, and compliance to VOSH safety standards. A high school diploma/GED equivalent or vocational training with experience in facility cleaning practices is required. Successful candidate(s) will be able to work in busy office settings unnoticeably without drawing attention and/or disrupting others, have the ability to work around sensitive/confidential information with the highest degree of discretion, dependability, thoroughness in tasks completed, and ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions. Preference given for prior experience with advanced floor care (buffers, polishers, shampooers, and similar equipment).
