Location: 100 Kyle Dr. Hillsville, VA

Shift: Part-time & Full-time available; days vary; every other weekend required

The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in all areas of the community, as directed by the Maintenance Director, following all applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• At least one year of housekeeping experience preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks following established procedures.
• Follow safety precautions when using equipment and supplies.
• Clean floors, carpets, furnishings, resident rooms, walls, windows, and baseboards.
• Collect trash daily.
• Assist in setting up communal areas.
• Report repairs and supply needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas.
• Respond to residents’ needs and handle linens.
• Follow cleaning schedules and maintain confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned.
