Job summary

St. Barnabas Health System is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for Arbors Valencia Nursing Home in Valencia, PA. This full-time role focuses on cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining a safe, healthy environment for residents and staff.

You will work with a team to uphold high standards of cleanliness, participate in in-service trainings, and support daily operations in a mission-driven healthcare setting. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to navigate and move around the facility.

Responsibilities

• Clean, mop and disinfect restrooms daily.
• Vacuum, dust, disinfect common areas and remove trash.
• Care for floors and carpeted areas, report repairs to supervisor.
• Attend in-service trainings and staff meetings.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

St. Barnabas Nursing Home Is Looking For Experienced Housekeepers

• Job Type: Full Time
• Shifts: Monday - Friday, Daylight

What You Will Do

• Cleaning, mopping and disinfecting restrooms daily. Restocking all paper products and soaps
• Daily cleaning to include, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, restrooms, kitchens and removing all trash to outside containers
• All common areas, daily vacuuming of all carpeted areas, removal of stains, carpet cleaning as needed, mop all tile/hard surfaces daily
• Must maintain and clean equipment daily to report any repairs to supervisor
• Attend required in-service education training and staff meetings
• All other related duties as assigned

What You Will Bring

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to interact with team members, other staff and residential clientele.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position (Sit/Stand)
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Must be able to Navigate and Move around the Facility to provide cleaning services.
