Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter seasonal housekeeping roles. You will join the Heart of the House team, trained to assist in all housekeeping operations and support high guest standards in a mountain resort environment.

Starting wage is $20 per hour with full-time and part-time shifts. This role requires strong teamwork, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and good English communication. Housing is not provided, and the position runs during the 2026/2027 winter season.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in hotels or condos - preferred
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. - required
• Able to stand for long periods of time in excess of 2 hours - preferred
• Experience on Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer) - preferred
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal - preferred
• High school diploma - preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms, public areas and hallways.
• Washes shower walls and tub, cleans toilet, mirrors, sinks and walls for clean, sanitary restrooms.
• Washes all hard floor areas by hand to remove dirt and soiled areas.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures, reaches vents and ceiling corners to remove dust.
• Remakes beds with clean linens and checks bedspreads and blankets for cleanliness.
• Vacuums rooms and public areas, handles heavy furniture.
• Replaces towels, soaps and room amenities.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

• Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings including using a duster to reach vents and ceiling corners to remove dust and cobwebs.
• Strips bed of all linen and remakes with fresh, checking bedspread, blankets and bed pads for cleanliness, replacing if soiled.
• Vacuums rooms, public areas and hallways, operating vacuums weighing up to 35lbs., and lifting/moving heavy furniture
• Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

The expected pay range is $20. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
