Job summary

Complete Care at Green Acres is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff. No prior experience is required, but preferred.

You will be essential in providing warm hospitality and ensuring the cleanliness of resident rooms, bathrooms, offices and common areas. Responsibilities include cleaning and restocking assigned areas, maintaining daily duty sheets, and following safety and departmental procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning procedures and safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility, integrity and a strong work ethic are valued.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and staff.
• Housekeeping experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and restock all assigned areas such as resident rooms, bathrooms, offices and common areas following standards.
• Maintain daily duty sheets for assigned areas.
• Follow safe workplace practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Adhere to daily cleaning procedures and any additional steps as directed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and restocks all assigned areas such as resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, clinical areas, conference rooms, nurses’ stations, stairwells, etc., according to departmental standards and guidelines
• Maintains work assignment sheets for daily duties in assigned areas
• Follows safe workplace practices according to regulatory guidelines
• Follows departmental procedures for the daily cleaning procedures and any additional steps as outlined on the job assignment
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Housekeeping experience is a plus
