Job Title: Housekeeping
Reports To: Director of Facilities
Location: Shelter
Employment Type: Part-time
Educational: High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification: Requires Domestic Violence Core Competency training plus an additional 6 hours of individualized training (total 30 hours), with a passing written test.
License: Valid Florida Driver's License with active automobile insurance and a clean Motor Vehicle Report. Must have at least two years of driving experience.
Background Check: Ability to pass and maintain a Level 2 background check.
Training: OSHA training on cleaning methods, cross-contamination, spill containment.
Must be able to use hands, walk frequently, climb stairs, bend, stretch, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. Visual and auditory attention required. Exposure to cleaning solvents.
Typically in an office setting with moderate noise. Occasional outdoor exposure when transporting individuals.
Participation in continuing education, mandatory training, and staff meetings is required.
