Job summary

BullsEye Jobs seeks a housekeeping professional for residences in the Stowe area. The role involves cleaning and maintaining Stowe Country Home properties, restocking supplies, and handling laundry as needed. Travel between worksites is required and transportation is provided between sites.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months of experience in a high-end resort, or private club, is required.
• Must demonstrate a working knowledge of applicable sanitation standards.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must maintain a neat and clean physical appearance.

Job description

Housekeeping

All worksites are located in the Stowe town area. Travel throughout the area is required. Transportation between the worksites is provided. Daily transportation is not provided.

Work schedule will vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours.

Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday.

Duties:

1. Professionally clean and maintain Stowe Country Home properties using cleaning procedures according to company standards.
2. In guest rooms -- change bed sheets and make beds, clean bathrooms, restock towels and other supplies, vacuum and mop floors, dust furniture, and clean and polish fixtures.
3. Organize and stock cleaning cart and organize linen closets on floors assigned.
4. Perform other duties as assigned (i.e., laundry, cleaning spills, executing special guest requests, etc.).
5. Assist other departmental staff in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas.

Requirements:

Physical Demands:

1. Most work tasks are indoors. Temperature is moderate; controlled by hotel environmental systems.
2. Must be able to work with detergents and chemical compounds required for cleaning and sanitation.
3. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
4. Must be able to lift as much as 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.
5. Must be able to push/pull carts/equipment weighing up to 250 pounds on a regular, continuing basis.
6. Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.
7. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
8. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different floors of the hotel on a timely basis.
9. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
10. Talking and hearing occur continuously in communicating with guests and other employees.
11. Vision occurs continuously with the most common functions being near vision and depth perception.
12. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

Dependability: Employees are expected to be on time and demonstrate regular attendance.

Job Performance: Employees are expected to complete duties quickly, efficiently, and safely.

Conduct: Employees are expected to follow worksite rules and regulations. Employees who violate worksite rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
