The Housekeeper will complete work orders, arrange furniture for programs and events, set-up meeting spaces per instructions in Altru data base and run of shows (ROS) received from internal staff. Housekeepers are tasked with ensuring that the overall look of the facility inside and outside is well kept and maintained. Essential Functions: Cleaning restrooms, disinfectant public areas of the building Stripping, waxing and buffing floors Ensure that all spaces are cleaned routinely, trash removed daily, glass cleaned Follow assigned area cleaning guides and assist co-workers when short staffed Visit off-site locations to clean restrooms and replenish supplies Complete work orders as they are received Deliver furniture, paper and other needed items throughout the building and to other locations Assist with setting up and taking down the stage and arranging furniture for programs and special events Assist other departments when needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (to include work history) 3-5 years housekeeping experience Must have the ability to obtain driver license to operate company vehicles Skills: Knowledge of correct use of housekeeping chemicals, supplies and the correct and safe use of all equipment Must maintain a professional attitude and represent the institution in a professional manner Ability to follow instructions and effectively perform duties during periods of time with little or no supervision Computer skills and ability operate mobile devices (tablet or iPad) Ability to lift 60 pounds Ability to use floor and carpet scrubbing machines, buffers, vacuums Ability to climb ladders to perform housekeeping duties Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm Rotating weekends and overtime as needed.
