Job summary

New Vista Health and Wellness is seeking a Housekeeper to support Ethan Crossing of Springfield, OH. Day shifts available and competitive hourly pay range of $15-$17 per hour.

Responsibilities include cleaning client rooms, offices, and common areas; maintaining stock of supplies; and reporting repairs. A positive attitude and ability to work under pressure are important to deliver a clean and safe environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of client rooms, offices, and public areas.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, sweep and take out trash.
• Disinfect surfaces and maintain cleanliness to safety standards.
• Refill supplies and ensure adequate linens are stocked.
• Report needed repairs to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a safe environment following OSHA guidelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify for the Housekeeper position, you must have:

• Experience working in housekeeping for a large facility, preferred.
• Positive Attitude!
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Teamwork, flexibility needed to fulfill job responsibilities, adapting to changes in work environment and accepting supervisory feedback.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Housekeeper, you will:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks of client rooms, offices, and public areas
• Vacuum, dust, mop, sweep, and take out trash.
• Clear areas with disinfectants.
• Refill supplies (paper products, soap, etc.)
• Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the hospital.
• Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, missing nuts or screws, beds needing repair, etc).
• Ensuring a safe and risk preventative environment within OSHA regulations.
