Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, waste management, and maintaining supplies while engaging with residents in a friendly and respectful manner. Prior housekeeping experience and a compassionate attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Vacuum, dust, sanitize, and mop common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
• Laundry: Wash, fold, and distribute laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Waste: Dispose of trash and recycling, keeping areas clean and organized.
• Inventory: Restock cleaning supplies and equipment; report shortages or issues.
• Safety: Follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic environment.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with staff to keep the facility well-maintained and resident-friendly.
• Resident engagement: Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Laundry Services: Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Waste Management: Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly, ensuring that waste areas are clean and organized.
• Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining and restocking cleaning supplies and equipment. Notify management of any supply shortages or equipment issues.
• Safety & Sanitation: Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for residents and staff.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure that the facility is well-maintained and residents are comfortable.
• Resident Engagement: Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
