Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Housekeeper for Oakmont of Simi Valley to maintain clean, safe living spaces for residents. This is a full-time on-site role with a pay range of $17.00-$18.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident and public areas, doing resident laundry, and ensuring safety and teamwork across departments. Applicants should have prior housekeeping experience and a commitment to excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas, as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
