Job summary

The Good Shepherd Community is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, with emphasis on high-touch surface disinfection, room cleanliness, and tidy common areas.

This role offers a Monday–Friday shift 7:30am–4:00pm with generous benefits, including PTO, safe time, health options for full-time staff, a company 401K match, and opportunities for tuition reimbursement and scholarships.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the building, including resident rooms and designated common areas.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
• Collect trash and empty wastebaskets.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Restock essential supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.).
• Report any needed repairs or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
