Job summary

The Peaks at Millcreek in Millcreek, UT is seeking compassionate Housekeepers to join our team. We are looking to fill weekday shifts in a warm, supportive community that provides care for residents.

The Housekeepers maintain cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas, with responsibilities including bathroom sanitation, floor and carpet care, wall cleaning, and safe waste disposal. Experience in healthcare housekeeping and customer service is highly valued, as is a positive, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Experience in customer service is highly desired.
• Upbeat and positive team player attitude.
• Strong judgment and solutions-oriented.
• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes furnishings, fixtures and surfaces in residents' rooms and the community’s living/recreational areas as instructed.
• Cleans, washes, sanitizes and/or polishes bathroom fixtures and removes water marks from fixtures.
• Cleans floors (sweeping, mopping, waxing, disinfecting) as instructed, ensuring safety signs are properly set before use.
• Cleans carpets (vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, disinfecting) as instructed.
• Cleans walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting and disinfecting as instructed.
• Removes dirt, dust, grease and film from surfaces using cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Cleans hallways as necessary or instructed.
• Disposes of waste and lines trash receptacles with liners.
