Job summary

VTrips is seeking a Housekeeper to provide high-quality cleaning services in vacation rental properties. You will complete arrival/departure cleaning and maintain unit appearance.

The role requires 6 months in hospitality, a valid driver license, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive pay with benefits including insurance and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in the hospitality field with working knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance, and hospitality standards
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, bend, stretch, twist, stand, climb stairs, and reach as needed
• Professional with the ability to be functional in a team environment and follow directions

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cleaning services, ensuring completion of all arrival or departure cleaning tasks, and adherence to standard unit appearance
• Provide prompt follow-up if cleaning problems are reported by inspectors or guests
• Discover, document, and communicate all maintenance, condition, or safety issues to management immediately
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, paying special attention to health and/or safety training issues
• Maintain professional, courteous behavior when interacting with co-workers, managers, guests and owners
• Secure all keys/passes issued, and return them to the office at the end of each day
• Responds promptly to requests from guests internally
• Delivers items to guests, housekeeping staff, and maintenance in a timely manner
• May be required to assist in general housekeeping duties such as cleaning hot tubs, bathrooms, kitchens, and making beds
• May be required to assist other departments as needed
• Complete requests and upload photos to our PMS software
• Performs other duties which may be assigned by a supervisor

• Provide high-quality cleaning services, ensuring completion of all arrival or departure cleaning tasks, and adherence to standard unit appearance

Requirements:

• Professional with the ability to be functional in a team environment, capable of taking direction and making good decisions under minimum supervision.
• Attention to detail, excellent time management, organization, and communication skills
• Microsoft and other computer knowledge
• Ability to work a varied schedule, particularly weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, bend, stretch, twist, stand, climb stairs, and reach as needed
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred
