Job summary

Samoset Resort in Rockport, ME is seeking friendly Room Attendants to join our hospitality team. You will clean guest rooms, change linens, restock amenities and support deep cleaning tasks.

The role requires weekend availability and a positive, guest-focused approach. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k), free parking and hotel discounts. You will transport carts daily and assist in maintaining safety and cleanliness standards for an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible scheduling (weekends required).
• Move, lift, carry and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned (beds, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming).
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels and amenities.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed.
• Stock and transport housekeeping supplies.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Respond to guest requests promptly.

Job description

We are looking to add Room Attendants to our team. Responsibilities:

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
• Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
• Dispose of trash and recyclables
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Inspect goods upon delivery to the rooms/departments to ensure that the standards are met
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible scheduling (MUST be able to work weekends!)
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
