WakeMed is seeking an Environmental Services housekeeping team member to help maintain a clean, infection-preventive environment across clinical areas, offices, hallways, and patient rooms in a busy hospital setting.
The role emphasizes routine cleaning tasks, attention to detail, and contributing to a safe experience for patients, families and staff in the WakeMed facility in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Environmental Services housekeeping team is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and infection prevention within the facility, and assisting in the promotion of a quality experience for our patients and their families, staff and for those individuals who use our facility on a daily basis. The Environmental Services housekeeping team performs various routine housekeeping and cleaning duties such as dry and damp mopping floors, vacuuming rugs and carpets, dusting and sanitizing surfaces in clinical work areas, offices, hallways, restrooms and patient rooms, to ensure a clean and safe environment.
