Job summary

Catawba Island Club (CIC) on the Lake Erie shore is seeking reliable Housekeepers to join our private, resort-style team. We value teamwork and guest comfort in a friendly, family-owned environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards, changing linens, restocking supplies, and ensuring banquet spaces are clean. Acknowledging basic English and the ability to lift up to 25–30 pounds is required; weekend availability helps our busy schedule.

Qualifications

• Basic English communication required.
• Ability to stand and move for entire shift and lift up to 25-30 pounds, with occasional up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and leave bathrooms sparkling.
• Restock guest room supplies (soap, shampoo).
• Organize linen closet, restock cart, and prep for the next day.
• Greet guests with a friendly smile during shifts.
• Ensure banquet and meeting spaces are clean and ready.

As Housekeeper, you will

• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds and leave the bathroom sparkling.
• Restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo.
• Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day before your shift ends each day
• Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
• Ensure that all banquet and meeting spaces are clean and ready.

Fundamentals

To be successful in this role, you need basic English communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds. You will also lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
