Job summary

Brooksby Village, part of Erickson Senior Living, in Peabody, MA, seeks a full-time Housekeeper to keep resident apartments and common areas in tip-top shape. You will clean residents' homes, public spaces, and classrooms, and assist with trash disposal.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or with a team. The position offers $16.25-$18.25 per hour with shift differentials, plus benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) with 3% company match,

Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal.
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment and hard floor care equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident homes in Independent Living or Nursing Home.
• Clean public bathrooms, lobbies, and living areas.
• Vacuum, dust, and declutter spaces; remove trash and replace liners.
• Clean classrooms, dusting and wiping surfaces.
• Assist with trash collection and disposal; manage liners.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces and perform interim cleaning.

Location: Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living

Join an incredible team of environmental services professionals as a full-time Housekeeper in our senior living community. You'll help keep our resident apartments and common areas in tip top shape.

Full-time

Compensation: commensurate with experience $16.25-$18.25 / hour and shift differentials

How you will make an impact

• Cleaning resident’s homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home
• Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures
• Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents.
• Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs
• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

What you will need

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles
• Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other
