Job summary

Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a dedicated full-time Housekeeper to maintain resident apartments and common areas within our senior living community near Boston. The role supports Independent Living and Nursing Home settings, with emphasis on cleanliness and resident comfort.

You will work independently and as a team member, operating carpet and hard floor cleaning equipment and housekeeping vehicles as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal.
• Ability to safely operate carpet cleaning and hard floor care equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely operate housekeeping vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident homes in Independent Living or Nursing Home.
• Clean public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures.
• Clean lobbies and living rooms with vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
• Clean classrooms, dusting and vacuuming as needed.
• Assist with collection, bagging and disposal of trash and replace liners.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces including extraction and vacuuming.

Location: Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living

Join an incredible team of environmental services professionals as a full-time Housekeeper in our senior living community. You'll help keep our resident apartments and common areas in tip top shape.

Full-time Compensation: commensurate with experience $16.25-$18.25 / hour and shift differentials

How you will make an impact

• Cleaning resident’s homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home
• Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures
• Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents.
• Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs
• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

What you will need

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles
• Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other
