Avari Management on Whidbey Island, WA is seeking an on-site Housekeeper to maintain a portfolio of vacation rental properties. You will clean, launder, restock amenities, and prepare spaces to ensure guests enjoy pristine, welcoming homes.

This part-time role requires reliable transportation for travel between sites, with schedules varying by guest needs. Training is provided for hot tubs and basic maintenance, and shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Location: Whidbey Island, WA, with willingness to travel from Oak Harbor to Clinton and all points in between

Compensation:$24/hr

Work Type: Part -Time

Shift:Short-term vacation rental industry; schedules vary; availability to work weekdays, weekends, occasional long hours, and holidays as needed. Thursday-Monday schedule preferred.

The Property Manager owns the end-to-end homeowner experience for their assigned portfolio. This role serves as the single point of accountability for property performance, homeowner satisfaction, and operational execution.

The housekeeper will professionally clean and maintain a portfolio of vacation rental properties, performing thorough cleaning including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and moving furniture to ensure every surface sparkles. The position involves creating welcoming environments by handling laundry, restocking amenities, maintaining hot tubs (training provided), and identifying any maintenance needs or damages. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in attention to detail and wants to directly impact guests' vacation experiences by delivering pristine, comfortable homes.

Core Responsibilities

• Professionally clean and maintain a portfolio of vacation rental properties using cleaning procedures and products in conformance with prescribed company standards.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfaces.
• Move all reasonably portable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind.
• Assist with laundry and linen as needed.
• Identify and note any damages or needed repairs to homes.
• Collect and remove trash and debris.
• Attend all mandatory individual and team meetings.
• Replenish consumable items such as soaps and paper products.
• Maintain hot tubs as needed; no experience necessary - we offer on-site training.

Skills + Qualifications

• Experience working in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry is preferred but not required
• Prior housekeeping experience is a bonus but not required - we can train!
• Tech-savvy with experience using various digital systems and applications and comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and various software platforms.
• This role involves frequent travel between worksites, so reliable personal transportation is essential.

Workplace Environment + Physical Requirements

• Work may take place indoors or outdoors, in a variety of settings including private homes, resorts, offices, and laundry facilities — often in varying weather conditions.
• We’re in hospitality and our schedules can change based on guest and homeowner needs. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. We require flexibility to support this.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Regular travel within the locally assigned market and / or region market dependent.
• Ability to move freely (balancing, climbing, crawling, driving, squatting, standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive hand/finger motions) and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistance.
