Job summary

Nora Springs Care Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our friendly team in Nora Springs. You will help maintain cleanliness and infection control standards throughout the facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Prior housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred, but we are ready to invest in the right candidate with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an eleventh (11th) grade education.
• Prior Housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards across resident areas.
• Clean, sanitize and organize all facility spaces using housekeeping tools and chemicals.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

As a Housekeeper you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our resident’s environment. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Nora Springs Care Center by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility and operating housekeeping related tools, chemicals and equipment. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure a clean and safe environment.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:
