Job summary

Concord Care Center in Garner, IA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe and infection‑control focused environment for residents. You will clean, sanitise, and care for all areas of the facility using housekeeping tools and chemicals, contributing to high standards of resident care.

Eligible candidates should have at least an eleventh grade education; prior SNF housekeeping experience is preferred, but the right person will be trained.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eleventh grade education.
• Prior housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred but training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and infection-control standards across the facility.
• Clean and sanitize all resident areas using approved tools and chemicals.
• Support a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

As a Housekeeper you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our resident’s environment. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Concord Care Center by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility and operating housekeeping related tools, chemicals and equipment. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure a clean and safe environment.
