Breaking Ground seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe common areas across our residential buildings in the Bronx. The role involves cleaning tenant units on request and supporting event setups, with a focus on high standards of hygiene and safety.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work 35 hours per week onsite, using vacuum cleaners and buffers, and you may assist with painters and engineers.
Located in the Bronx, Park House offers 248 units of permanent supportive housing to low-income New York, and chronically homeless individuals, including individuals with mental illness. Breaking Ground coordinates property management services.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Housekeeper is a part of the department that maintains the common areas of our residential buildings. Examples of common areas include offices, multi-purpose rooms, roof deck, garden, trash collection area, lobby, fitness room and sidewalks. Tenant apartments will also be cleaned. Our residential buildings help to end homelessness by providing a home to formerly homeless individuals.
This position has a 35-hour work week, onsite.
