Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in New York seeks a reliable Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and safety across resident suites and common areas. You will respect privacy, handle chemicals safely, and support a comfortable living environment for seniors.

The role offers pay between $17.00 and $21.25 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth. This on-site position includes benefits such as health plans, retirement savings, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas
• Clean and polish fixtures, furniture, and surfaces
• Knock before entering resident rooms and respect privacy
• Collect trash and maintain clean disposal areas
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute community laundry
• Inspect linens for wear and follow replacement procedures
• Store chemicals safely and follow infection control standards
• Keep carts, equipment, and hallways clear and compliant
